The custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.


Essential Duties

  • Wipe down appliances (i.e., refrigerator, inside microwave, etc.) and furniture (i.e., desktops, countertops, etc.).
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting surfaces, and scrubbing all floors, walls, and surfaces.
  • Clear all waste bins and dispose of trash in all offices and common areas.
  • Clean all restrooms and water fountains.
  • Dust all blinds and window sills.
  • Dust and clean desk surfaces.
  • Ensure all doors in the assigned work area are locked at the completion of the shift.
  • Request and store cleaning supplies and materials and provide routine maintenance on cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Notify the supervisor when running low on supplies.

As a Body Shop Technician, you are a valued member of our team. This is a skilled position that is responsible for replacing, repairing and refinishing a wide variety of Medium & Heavy Duty Trucks ensuring attention to detail. In this position, you essential duties are to:

  • Conduct detailed inspection of vehicle, parts and components
  • Repair damaged vehicle frames, inner structures and cosmetic aspects. repairs and refinishes semi-tractor and trailers.
  • Installs equipment, components and systems.
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean. Notify service advisor/dispatcher immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
  • Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Return them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, EPA rules and regulations, etc. Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
  • Operates all tools/equipment in a safe manner and reports any safety issues immediately to management.

  • Two years welding, fabricating and/or related experience and/or training.

The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work, establishing written service estimates, and providing ongoing communication with the customer on the status of repair orders.


Essential Duties

  • Greeting customers and providing best-in-class customer service with a smile!
  • Interview the customer thoroughly regarding the nature of the complaint.
  • Inspect the vehicle, taking pictures of the 4 corners, windshield, and VIN.
  • Create ASIST Case, and Repair Order for the repair.

Summary:

Truck Sales Manager leads and develops the sales team to achieve sales goals and departmental profitability. The position is responsible for the continued growth of market share for all Class 8 Nextran products. They will work daily with the sales personnel to help them in planning, training, organizing, advertising, coordinating, and measuring sales pipeline activities.

The Truck Sales Manager will have a thorough understanding of the current and upcoming OEM product benefits, financing and programs. They will ensure the internal and OEM sales process is executed accurately and efficiently. This individual will build customer retention and assist with any special project deals. They will act with integrity, and business professionalism, and will uphold the Nextran Pledge to Customers.

Essential Duties

· Leads and develops a successful Sales Team

  • Conducts one on one monthly meetings with sales personnel
  • Conducts effective monthly team sales meetings to share results, recognize high-performing employees, and address challenges while sharing best practices
  • Conducts regular sales calls with sales personnel
  • Ensures the team utilizes sales tools, such as the delivery process, CRM, personal sales goals and development plan, OEM technology, etc. Becomes the expert in Nextran’s internal sales process, along with OEM’s required sales process, and communicates ongoing changes to the team
  • Provide sales personnel with the necessary training
  • Assist sales personnel in developing and achieving sales action plan to meet or exceed individual sales goals
  • Interviews, screens, and hires new sales team members. Understands truck commission and compensation structure for the sales team.
  • Provides annual performance reviews and assists with setting sales goals for each calendar year
  • Demonstrates Nextran’s Pledge to Customers in all interactions, and upholds team members to same standard
  • Issues Reporting in accordance with Dealership requirements. May include:
  • Sales projections monthly and quarterly
  • Budget forecast (review floor plan vs. budget)
  • Monthly review of all sales assistance, contract maintenance, extended warranty (soft products purchased on customer’s behalf), and other credits from OEM i.e., FTF

· Territory Management – Assign and monitor territories and accounts

  • Maintains adequate stock of product, or assists sales team in balancing allocations with customer retention. Ability to monitor new vehicle inventory and location of all inventory for accuracy
  • Provide recommendations for procedure and policies changes regarding processes and advertising options
  • Maintain and ensure sales personnel fully utilizes OEM system and completes OEM training requirements
  • Yard Management – Ensure display of trucks maximizes marketability
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with other departments within the Company as well as third-party vendors i.e., body companies, etc. Works with Used Truck Director to manage inventory so it may be turned at a profit.
  • Facilitates team actively pursuing opportunities and utilizing the Rental and Leasing Department
  • Attends to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained

The Shop Foreman will lead, mentor, and manage service shop personnel to ensure that an exceptional level of customer service is achieved by completing all jobs within the time frame promised as efficiently as possible. This person will regularly assist management with the development of technicians through On-The-Job Training.


Essential Duties

  • Assigns work in a productive manner to achieve quality repairs and ensure that promised estimated time of repair (ETR) is achieved.
  • Maintains constant and accurate communications with Service Technicians.
  • Assists the Lead Uptime Technician whenever necessary to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Minimizes customer wait time on new truck arrivals.
  • Works closely with the Lead Uptime Technician during the quality control process of all repairs in order to minimize Reworks, Comebacks, and any customer dissatisfaction with Nextran products and/or services.
  • Challenges technicians with assigned work.
  • Coaches Technicians, recommending training, and discipline as necessary.
  • Directly supervises technician Trainees.
  • Provides technical support to technicians and management.
  • Follows Customer Contact and Communication Policy.
  • Follows all Nextran policies and procedures, including “Nextran’s Pledge to Customers.”
  • Gathers Quality Control Feedback for coaching purposes.
  • Assists with Heavy diagnostic jobs.
  • Notify Service Manager of broken tools, and unsafe conditions.
  • Service Advisor duties and all Customer communication start to finish
  • Other duties may be assigned at any time based on departmental needs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or GED
  • College and/or technical training preferred but not mandatory
  • Must have valid driver and/or CDL license and clean driving record (MVR)
  • Minimum seven years heavy duty truck mechanical experience
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary for communicating with customers, management, employees and vendors
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to understand financial information as it pertains to dealership operations

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations with only limited resources. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
  • Operates all tools/equipment in a safe manner and reports any safety issues immediately to management.

Preferred Candidates have the following:

  • Two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ASE Certification a plus
  • Cummins Engine Repair Certification a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School Diploma- College or Technical training preferred, but not required

As a Parts Counter Sales representative, you are a valued member of our team, performing:

  • Provides exceptional customer service when assisting all customers with parts needs at the front parts counter or over the phone.
  • Processes sales transactions in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Upsells companion part requirements and specials.
  • Performs outbound sales calls for assigned, targeted accounts.
  • Prepares parts including order filling from stock.

As a Parts Back Counter Sales representative, you are a valued member of our team. You are responsible for loading parts lists into ASIST and Fusion with accurate pricing, and communicating availability. You are also responsible for gathering and delivering parts to the Service Department accurately and quickly.

Essential Duties:

*Service Repair Order - Parts Sales

  • Create accurate parts lists for estimates
  • Use Impact, Parts Compass, Cummins and other software including online to identify and order parts.
  • Fill Service department pick lists for approved work
  • Use MV Asist to add parts and update Service department estimates
  • Work with inventory control for back order tracking and VOR's.
  • Provide delivery dates, status or orders and back orders
  • Complete necessary quotes, invoices and order forms as appropriate for specialty items.
  • Deliver and pick-up parts and cores to service department bays
  • Forklift operation as needed. Need to be certified to operate.

*Parts Department Support

  • Assist in unpacking and packing parts or UPS shipment if needed.
  • Assist in physical inventory, routine maintenance and cleaning
  • Attend continual training courses in-house and at vendor locations as required
  • Deliver or pick-up parts in company vehicle as needed.
  • Managing weekly core returns

*Parts Counter Sales

  • Make over the counter and telephone sales, invoice customers, and take payments
  • Assist customers in part selection, provide technical information and advice
  • Suggest possible add-on items as appropriate
  • Promote sales by telephone, mail and email.
  • Other duties as assigned

*Skills and Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in parts counter sales or an Associates degree and 1 year experience in the industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations with only limited resources.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
