The sales coordinator ensures that truck sales are completed in an accurate and timely manner by providing administrative support for all sales processes and serving as a liaison between the sales department, customers and finance/accounting departments.
Prepare sales contracts and create delivery paperwork
Maintain truck inventory and truck files for all brands
Accurately and timely reserve trucks
Initiate truck transfers between locations
Receive and review yard management against operating system records
Assist all vendors as needed to clear all floorplan audits
Receive trucks and post factory invoices; ensure accurate price level
Reconcile assigned accounts, pay off floorplan accounts, and post journal entries as needed
Issue Local Purchase Orders (LPO’s) both internal and accounts payable
Process vehicle registrations, lien recordings, temporary tags, and paperwork related to deal invoicing, finance documents and insurance
Retail and Warranty Register sold trucks; file extended purchase warranties
Review and resolve any open items on internal statements including nonpayment issues from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) or remarketing credits
Other duties, as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree preferred
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
Computer proficiency, experience with Microsoft Excel and Karmak a plus
Familiarity with basic accounting concepts
The ability to multitask
