Diesel Technician - Fruita, CO

Nextran Truck Centers (formerly Westfall O’Dell Truck Sales) is seeking Diesel Technicians for its Volvo/Mack Service Department in Fruita, CO. Nextran can help you take your career to the next level!

Starting pay for the Diesel Technician is $20 per hour. Top technicians can earn up to $40 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements of the Diesel Technician:

• Capability to perform diagnosis, maintenance and repair of Class 8 trucks
• Provide quality and cost effective maintenance for our customers
• Ability to complete all necessary repair orders
• Safely move trucks/equipment to/from shop and yard area
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Computer experience 

Qualifications for the Diesel Technician:

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE Certification a plus
• Valid driver’s license required

• Entry and exit from cab of vehicle.
• Required to sit for an extended period of time (hours) while driving delivery vehicle.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
